About

AC Pro is part of a heating and air conditioning supply company, MSI HVAC, dedicated to bringing consumers the very best in qualified, trained, and professional heating and air conditioning contractors. When it comes to the service, maintenance or replacement of hvac equipment, there is a wide choice of contractors to choose from. But when you choose an AC PRO contractor, you have decided to choose the best value in the business.

Why Call AC Pro?

  • We promote consistent training. We proctor NATE certification exams.
  • We are not a marketing company charging contractors for their listing here.
  • We are not a web-based marketer selling leads to contractors but a locally-operated supplier.
  • We have long-term relationships with the contractors we recommend.
  • We are committed to raising the standards of professionalism in our industry; contractors selected for AC Pro certification have demonstrated that same commitment.
  • AC Pro dealers also focus on maintaining long-term relationships with their clients through service agreements.
  • We live and work in the communities we serve.
  • We will continue to raise standards among AC Pros.

All AC Pros must have a current and valid heating & air conditioning license. In California the contractor needs a C‑20 license and in Nevada the contractor needs a C‑21 license. This means that they are authorized to work on residential heating & air conditioning systems.

Be sure to verify the contractor’s license before making your selection, using the links below.

NATE Certification

North American Technician Excellence (NATE) is a non-profit organization for the heating & air conditioning industry that tests and certifies installers and technicians. To maintain certification after passing the initial exam, a technician must attend a minimum of 60 hours of NATE-approved training every five years. Consumer Reports says, “It’s a plus if a technician is NATE‑certified,” and the EPA tells consumers to ask if the technician is NATE-certified.

Training

AC Pros are committed to continually expanding their heating & air conditioning knowledge. This means that they stay current with training such as NATE certification, EPA certification, business management training, industry training and much more. Contractors must attend a minimum of four approved training sessions per year to maintain AC Pro certification.

Extended Warranty

AC Pros are registered sellers of Equiguard. This enables homeowners to purchase all the extended warranty benefits available for their new system.
